Vägi Atelier nace de un cruce de miradas.
Vägi Atelier was born from a crossing of gazes.
One from the Mediterranean, where I grew up and learned to see the light,
and one from the Baltic North, where I live and have learned to listen to matter.
Here, threads are dyed with natural pigments that I gather myself in Estonia — earths, barks, waters, berries, clays, ashes, and minerals — through a slow, manual process.
Each color holds its own story, its season, its emotion.Vägi means “vital force” in Estonian.
That idea sustains my work: returning to what is essential, to the honest, handcrafted gesture, to respect for the environment, and letting colors speak of their origin and belonging.
This is a place for those who appreciate the colors of the earth,
imperfect beauty, and gestures that endure.
Thank you for being here.
I hope that among the shades and textures, you find something that also speaks of you.
